Well, it’s fastest from the basic model line up to be precise, but you get our point. A new generation of Porsche 911 Turbo, especially in this S version, raises the bar of performance to another level and it makes almost all of the previous generations looking slow like a walking.
Always Porsche 911 Turbo S had been about brute force so let us give you some basic technical parameters: flat six 3.8 litre engine with two variable geometry turbos, 650 horsepower, 800 Nm of torque, 0-100 in 2,7 second, 0-200 in 8,9 seconds, top speed of 330 km/h.
So the new car is 70 bhp and 50 Nm stronger and 0,2 seconds (1,0 second respectively) faster. It is also 45 mm wider at a front and 20 mm at a back. Its adaptive suspension system PASM sits 10 mm lower. The brake system is also new and more powerful.
There are also reworked aerodynamics of a whole body, so new active front and rear spoilers give the car 15 % more downforce. Inside it looks like every other new 911 with more luxury equipment. But the design of the front seats is new, inspired in classic 911 Turbo of 930 generation from the 70s.
Porsche also released the pricing of the new 911 Turbo S. In Germany, Coupé starts at 216 369 euros, Cabriolet costs from 229 962 euros. You can order your new 911 Turbo S now and first cars arrive to customers during this summer.
